I thought I was smooth sailing because I haven't had any problems for ages but good never lasts too long I see.

Today I tried to update my system (because it keeps reminding me) and ran into a problem I can't seem to figure out.

As I do: emerge --update --newuse --deep --with-bdeps=y

I get:

http://pastebin.com/DjQSM8CJ

I tried stuff out from this topic: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-973272-start-0.html

but I have no idea if it made anything, better or worse.

 * Use eselect news to read news items.

You can fix this by running:
Code:
eselect news read

I would run etc-update or dispatch-conf to fix this problem.

- www-plugins/adobe-flash-11.2.202.332::gentoo (masked by: AdobeFlash-11.x license(s))
A copy of the 'AdobeFlash-11.x' license is located at '/usr/portage/licenses/AdobeFlash-11.x'.

You can add the following line to /etc/portage/package.license
Code:
www-plugins/adobe-flash AdobeFlash-11.x

I'm not sure how to fix the other problems, sorry.

You can fix the openssl/openssh problem by using bindist consistently. As the output says, either enable it for both packages or disable it for both. Currently, you have it enabled for one and not the other.

Doing the suggestions mentioned above, I got rid of most of the problems but run into plenty. Now the same update command gives this list and cancels: http://pastebin.com/tvVkQqFQ

I tried to mask the packages that were pulled back but it just lead to more problems (drawing backs).
