Hello Forum.

A happy new year to you all.
Mine is not so happy as Suspend does not work anymore :(

My setup is as follows:
Desktop: Fluxbox
Starting method: startx (xinirc = exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --exit-with-session startfluxbox)
Power-Manager-Applet: XFCE4-Power-Manager

Root can execute "pm-suspend" and it's working => Suspend is working

When I start XFCE4-Power-Manager with "--debug" it says a lot (well duh!) and also something about
Code:

TRACE[xfpm-polkit.c:455] xfpm_polkit_check_auth_intern(): Action=org.freedesktop.upower.suspend is authorized=FALSE

So I suppose this is an Polkit-Issue?

It also says
Code:

(xfce4-power-manager:27199): xfce4-power-manager-WARNING **: 'CheckAuthorization' failed with Unix process subject does not have uid set

ConsoleKit is running (at least ck-list-sessions looks as it should) and DBUS also seems happy.

Make.conf has the useflags
Code:

USE="X alsa bash-completion branding consolekit cpudetection cryptsetup cups \
dbus fuse gtk gtk2 gtk3 jpeg libnotify mp3 networkmanager nsplugin \
offensive offlinehelp policykit pulseaudio resolvconf sna spell sse \
     sse2 sse4_1 ssse3 startup-notification subject-rewrite symlink thinkpad \
thunar tor twolame udev udisks upower vim vim-syntax virtualbox win32 \
xgetdefault xinerama xnest xosd xrandr -bluetooth -doc -exceptions \
     -gnome-keyring -gnome-online-accounts -gnome-print -gnome-screensaver \
-gnome-shell -gnome2 -gnomecanvas -gpm -handbook -http -kde -kdecards \
-kdm -kdrive -mdadm -minimal -nautilus -ppp -qt4 -wallpapers"

If I forgot anything please let me know and my apologies. I very tired right now, so there might be something missing.

Kind regards
SPL
