I consider Firefox-26 as broken. It doesn't work properly to my understanding.
So I wish downgrade it back to 25. But I can't cause corresponding ebuild is not existing anymore.
WHY? What is the problem to keep previous version available in portage?
WHO has decided the most actual version as most usable?
Instead I see ebuilds for 24, 17 and 10...
I can't understand that logic. To my humble opinion the previous version of ANY packages
MUST be always available.
Now I pushed to downgrade back to 24 although I was pretty happy with 25. _________________ Lefsha |

Quite possibly because it had a gaping security hole.

These are ESR releases. So firefox-24.2.0 is actually newer than the version of firefox-25 you previously had installed. |
