Hi,

after upgrading, X is running in 800x600 (and even quite slow I'd say). My thinkpad has a 1024x768 LCD.

Xorg log file pasted below. I am running on a Savage

Latest version installed: 2.3.7

It looks as if my native video resolution gets discarded, right?
I tried removing my old xorg.conf, but nothing and let X handle everything.

What display ranges do you have in your working xorg.conf?
Are these detected values correct?

[ 1774.882] (II) SAVAGE(0): <default monitor>: Using hsync range of 31.50-47.30 kHz
[ 1774.882] (II) SAVAGE(0): <default monitor>: Using vrefresh range of 56.00-59.87 Hz
[ 1774.882] (II) SAVAGE(0): <default monitor>: Using maximum pixel clock of 56.00 MHz

/var/log/Xorg.0.log from the working xorg.conf might give a clue.
