I've managed to successfully install gentoo using gnome without any assistance but I've come across a rather odd error for which I cannot find documentation online. When I open an application (www-client/firefox, for example) it will let me use it but I cannot close it or move my mouse to the activities corner to select a different one (but it emits the circular pulses when in the corner). I literally have to ctrl+alt+f1 to reboot because I cannot do anything else.
I'm not entirely sure where to begin for this one |

Welcome to the forums!
I'm a bit confused? does ALT+F2 allow you to run any other command? say gnome-terminal for example and then with ALT-TAB move to that terminal? |
