When I set the USE flag for "ffmpeg", still the emerge does not make use of it, and it gives me no indication as to why. What could be the problem? As I do have the ffmpeg package installed, shouldn't I see some sort of reason for not being able to use it? |

For me, in amd64, Audacity has the Ffmpeg use flag in parentheses, which means that the use flag is unavailable for my profile. |

Hi, keet.
When I do 'emerge -pa audacity', I also see ffmpeg in parentheses. When I do 'eix audacity', I see it listed in the brackets along with other USE flags. When I do 'equery uses audacity', it does not show up listed among the others. What for example could exclude it from a profile? |
