See if the machine supports S3 suspend (BIOS setting, motherboard dependent) instead of (usually) S1 suspend. If not, likely you won't be able to get the fans to shut off. I have one motherboard that supports only S1 suspend and its behavior probably is what your machine is doing, machine is off, everything is cold, but fans are on.
Hopefully it will suspend/resume just fine just as before as this is a different method of suspend. Else you'll have to resort to STD (hibernation) to make it shut off fans. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
