hi,
Don't remember how I made a LiveUSB DOS, for flashing bios. But it's horrible, the thingy is highly unpredictable, files show uncompleted and irrespective of upper or lower case.
Let's say the file is flashthis.exe it shows as:
FLASHTHIS EXE
w00t?? Then you're not sure whether to write FLASHTHIS EXE or flashthis.exe, or FLASHTHIS.EXE. For something as delicate as flashing the BIOS I'd've expect something more consistent and less error prone.
I found out typing in lower case is ok.
Another HUGE gripe is the lack of auto-complete!!! cmon this is not summerian clay writing anymore!! Even m$$ terminal has tab auto-complete.
So here goes my question is there DOS version more modern with auto-complete and some other stuff for BIOS flashing?
thanks |

_______0,
If such a thing existed, it wouldn't be DOS :) _________________ Regards,
