|
|
Hi!
I just removed slimlock from my system to update to slim 1.3.6, which has merged slimlock.
Now my lockscreen does not react on any input und always shows me my "password failed" message.
The only way to unlock is switching to a virtual console and kill the process.
Any hints how to solve? Or maybe a bug?

I have problem with slimlock, I can't setup it so it lock a screen after some time? I get only dark screen but no lock. Can you tell me how to configure slimlock to do it. I'm using fluxbox. |

Since this is a completely different problem, you should open a new thread for this.
(have a look at xautolock) |

Same problem here
AFAIK there is no easy way to debug it. I tried to look at the source code, but the differences are quite large between slimlock-0.11 and slim-1.3.6. So I couldn't find the problem yet. I suspect that it is related to the merge of the panel.cpp file, which now handles both types of input boxes separately, for the DM and the Lock screen. Since the DM works correctly, the bug is probably located in the specific code for the lock panel. |
