Wall Street Journal article says that it's not that NSA was spying on europeans, it's that their own intelligence agencies did it. Makes sense, considering all "formal" governments are more or less just a theatre piece for the voting cattle. Oh and it's financed by your tax money. Moooooooo.

The intelligence world is wheels within wheels. Deceit, double-crossing, butt-fucking and reach-arounds.

Well when the news that, according to Snowden's leaked papers, the NSA had intercepted 46 million of phone calls in Italy, the Italian secret services told the parliament that 46m was the number of metadata relative to phone calls, and the number of actually tapped phone calls was a lot lower, but, of course it will never be possible to prove that it ever happened .... like they knew exactly what was being tapped and where ....

It's the New World Order in the form of a hedonist cult.

I doubt the whole "metadata" nonsense. Assuming an average length of 10 min per call, a data transfer rate of 64 Kibit/s for a compressed copy of each conversation, then it takes less than 60 hard disk drives with a data storage capacity of 4 TB each. That is actually only by a very small factor more than what I have at home by now. Besides, for phone calls the compression rate can be much better than what I assumed in my estimate, presuming that noise reduction through filters is being performed.

Hey, Germany's BND may have spied on 300 people in the USA (most likely US American terrorists, thieves and Nazis). That is bad! Probably as bad as constantly spying on 500 million EU citizens, if you believe Opoohbah's STASI fags.
