i want to use systemd as init. i'm using refind to boot (no bootloader). passing root=PARTUUID=XXXX now to kernel command line
can i add init=/usr/lib/systemd/systemd to the end of that to use systemd as init?

You can also set this in your kernel configuration. See "Processor type and features" -> "Built-in kernel command line". Note that this technique works for both grub and grub2. |
from the systemd wiki is kind of vague (want to be sure)
solution: yes i can. kernel command line is: root=PARTUUID=XXXXXXXX init=/usr/lib/systemd/systemd _________________ Unanswered posts need love too.
