Hello!

I did a world update on an old machine that was working fine. It sat for a good day or so, and it seemed o.k. told me to make a depclean efterwords wich i did.

Then i was going to emerge kdebase-meta (wich is why i started the update in first place).

Then i get a problem, so at first i thought the kde packages was messed up. But then i noticed that every package i attempt to emerge is not working.

I get this:

"configure error: C compiler cannot create executables"

Also, another one told me that i did not have a working compiler.

So for some reason, by gcc is broken after a world update.

What can i do about this?

Hello printf.

Thank you for your answer.

Believe it or not 8) , i actually did many searches, but everyone seemd to have different sollution, one more strange than the other.

But in the thread that you linked to, a guy called neiras had the sollution, and an explanation to why it have happened also!

For everyone that ends up in this thread, go to the link above and check you neiras answer!

Once again printf, thank you!
