Hi,
Currently, I have to enter my ssh password every time I push/pull a git or hg repo. I'd like to have my ssh key unlocked on (or right after) login and then not be bothered.
I have read this is possible using ksshaskpass+kwallet. I already use kwallet; currently I have to enter my password right after login to unlock NetworkManager/mail(Thunderbird) passwords.
I come here because I was a bit confused by the different guides on-line. What are the current setup steps to be taken. Obviously I have openssh, kwallet and ksshaskpass installed and have a ssh keypair. I don't think ssh-agent is running (according to some explanations it had to be, or ought not be according to others). Upon ksshaskpass merge, I got the message that I could let ksshagent start at kde startup (systemwide); I guess this is what I want?
Thanks,
