What should I do with ABI_X86 ?
Code: | [ebuild U ] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs-20131008-r1 [20130224-r13] USE="-development" ABI_X86="-32" 54,680 kB
[ebuild U ] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-20131008 [20130224-r2] USE="(development) opengl" ABI_X86="-32" 2,627 kB
[ebuild U ] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-opengl-20131008 [20130224] USE="-development" ABI_X86="-32%" 68,720 kB

Aren't these 32bit ebuilds?
If they show ABI_X86="-32" they only build 64bit packages?
How is my multilib profile supposed to work?
Should I set in /etc/portage/make.conf
ABI_X86="32 64" |

Unless you choose a no-multilib profile, you can compile applications for 32 and 64 bits in an Amd64 environment. I use the profile default/linux/amd64/13.0/desktop/kde and the eix command show ABI_X86="32" for app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs.
I think, what mean it can be different, that ABI_X86="32" is set on package basis by the ebuild and it's not necessary to set it globally. _________________ Paul |
