I've always used Epson printers since they were well supported in Linux.
I had to replace my RX560 because it developed all kinds of problems after 5 years.
So I ordered an XP 750.
Unpleasant surprise:Epson stopped support for Linux last January.
So cups didn't list this printer.
I googled foomatic, linux printing and you name it.
All I found was an rpm driver.
I did however find a file in /usr/share/foomatic/db/source/printer/Epson-XP-750_Series.xml.
So why doesn't cups list it then?

I'd be very very grateful for any help.
Gerard.

Edit:I finally found an rpm file from Epson no less.
So I emerged rpm but it won't install:
Code:

rpm --install epson-inkjet-printer-201209w-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.x86_64.rpm
warning: epson-inkjet-printer-201209w-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.x86_64.rpm: Header V4 DSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID 8aa65d56: NOKEY
error: Failed dependencies:
        lsb >= 3.2 is needed by epson-inkjet-printer-201209w-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.x86_64
        /bin/sh is needed by epson-inkjet-printer-201209w-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.x86_64

/bin/sh is a symlink to bash in my system, could they need another kind of shell?
What the heck is "lsb >= 3.2"?
I need this file for both the ppd and the driver.
