Just upgraded KDE to 4.10.5 from 4.9.x and I'm noticing two things:
- Noticeably slower window switching. I.e. when clicking on a new window, the focus moves immediately, and the window moves to the foreground, but there's a visible delay between
- Huge CPU usage by kwin during switching...as high as 51% CPU.
- The lag makes it so I can't rapidly alt-tab switch between windows. If I hit tab twice rapidly, it only changes once.
Any idea how to troubleshoot this? It's a huge performance issue as it's affecting functionality. _________________ Alex Zorach | Teacology | RateTea | Why This Way |

I found this bug which linked to this bug, and gave a workaround, setting Qt graphics system to Raster in the configuration...but...that was already set on my box. Fiddling with the settings there didn't seem to change anything either...still very slow. _________________ Alex Zorach | Teacology | RateTea | Why This Way |
