Incomplete Manfiest

I have a local overlay, and it works fine but it was brought to my attention by a user of my overlay that the Manifest file doesn't include hashes for all the files. There are no entries for the ebuilds, patch files, etc. The only thing that seems to be in the Manifest is the SRC_URI. It doesn't seem to cause any problems emerging the package, but I'm curious what is causing this. Am I missing something in the ebuild or the package directory?

Some overlays can be set to use thin manifest, which will not manifest the files in the overlay itself (because Git for example does so; because of that, it prevents it from being manifested twice); though, I believe the default is that that is not the case. It kind of depends on what you have set in the metadata/layout.conf file; anyhow, if you just think the metadata hasn't been generated, running `repoman manifest` should do it for you.
