Hi all,
does anybody knows a resource where is described a KVM/Qemu PCI passthrough to a gentoo kernel higher than 3.0.35? I have a running Gentoo Server with libvirt on an Intel I7 with a linux-3.0.35-gentoo kernel and forward a AVM Fritz B1 PCI card. Everything runs fine on the win 2008 gues, there runs a fax software on the guest. All manuals that I found are written for kernels lower than 3.0.0 :( like this one on the KVM Pages:
http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/How_to_assign_devices_with_VT-d_in_KVM
For example the option
"Enable DMA Remapping Devices" to "*"
described in this maual is dissapered in the actual kernel 3.10.7.

If anyone is interested, I will post here my running config for kernel 3.0.35.

Thanks in advance
