Hi all,
I have configured pulseaudio and it works great when I play music by mpd, but for in instance Spotify and Youtube scenes from the net I don't get any sound.
I did set the pulseaudio flag in make.conf and when I start Spotify it also tells me that the audio drivers uses pulseaudio:
Code: |
12:51:55.804 I [audio_driver_linux.cpp:17 ] Using PulseAudio
|
It should because it was built with the flag.
Code: |
[ebuild R *] media-sound/spotify-0.9.1.55 USE="gnome pulseaudio -pax_kernel" 0 kB
|
The output of "ps aux | grep pulse" when I run mpd is the same as when I run spotify:
Code: |
ps aux|grep pulse
mpd 296 0.1 0.0 496488 6712 ? Sl 11:49 0:21 /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog
mpd 337 0.0 0.0 86828 2692 ? S 11:49 0:00 /usr/libexec/pulse/gconf-helper
white-tiger 458 0.0 0.0 370364 5996 ? Sl 11:49 0:03 /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start
white-tiger 459 0.0 0.0 86800 2692 ? S 11:49 0:00 /usr/libexec/pulse/gconf-helper
white-tiger 1647 0.0 0.0 8968 664 pts/0 S+ 14:59 0:00 grep --colour=auto pulse
|
So since it works with mpd I surely don't understand why it is not working in Spotify. |
