I have an AVI file coded in video/x-msvideo format. Which plug-in should I install or which USE flag should I set?
If this is relevant I'm trying to open it with Totem or VLC. _________________ Vitaly |

video/x-msvideo is too vague.
E.g. file mymovie.avi should provide more useful detail. |

I've found ITU H.264 video codec and ADPCM audio codec in the properties of the file. _________________ Vitaly |

Your USE flags are in order, as far as I can tell. I also think you should be able to play those codecs with VLC. Is there a console message if you try to open the file on the command line? |
