Quote:
Superman and Batman are to appear in the same film for the first time, it has been revealed, to the delight of many fans of the popular characters.

The surprise announcement was made by Zack Snyder, who directed the most recent Superman film Man of Steel.

But speaking at a comic convention in San Diego, California, Mr Snyder said the script was still being written.

Production is expected to begin next year and the film is scheduled for release in the summer of 2015.

Warner Bros confirmed that the two superheroes would team up for the first time.

It's going to stink as bad as a skunk coming out of the ass of another skunk.

Bit of a mismatch of abilities for a start.

Justice League, eh? They're going to need more than those two to pull it off, and Christian Bale has already said he's not interested.

Yeah. Batman is just some regular guy while Superman isn't even human and can deflect asteroids and stuff.

Batman has strengths. For one, he can remain unseen.

why are all your "all american" super heros played by English people? Is it just better to get an English actor who can do an accent rather than an American actor?

There is a series called Strike Back where the English hero is played by an American and the American hero is played by an Australian.

And the reason is that poms are cheap, maybe.

You'd have to ask the directors of the D.C. comic hero movies. Iron Man's played by an American, but Iron Man is Marvel. I would love to see one with that "Croydon" accent that mark Kermode used to explain the badness that is Michael Bay's "pornographic sensibility".

They prefer to hire talented unknowns for such parts, because they can sandbag them on the initial contract into doing numerous sequels under poor terms if the movie is a hit.

It fucks them up when they hire somebody like Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, or Christian Bale to be Batman, and then he doesn't want to be Batman anymore (unless they'll give him half the farm and let him run the show). Keaton did two films, but turned down $15 million for the third because they wouldn't give him his choice of director and wouldn't re-write the script to be less humorous (the oft-cited "creative differences"). They haven't managed to get any of the other guys to stick around either. Similar problems have occurred with other well-established actors playing other superhero roles.

But when they hire a Hugh Jackman to be Wolverine, or a ... what's his name... Henry Cavill to play Superman, the producers make out like bandits and get to abuse them in sequels forever.

and yet batman has taken down Superman.
As the lore goes, Superman is (almost) always be relied upon todo what is right, what is just. Batman however... while he will take down the baddies and has shown good judgement on this, the manner in which he will take someone down could be classed as underhand. He will stay back, hide, observe, find their weakness and exploit at the perfect opportunity with no remorse

Yeah, it's easier to screw over Superman, because he's more predictable. You get some Kryptonite, and you trap him. Game over. How many times has that happened?

Q. How does Batman fly in this movie?
A. It starts with Superman buggering Batman to climax and then SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH Batty flies through the air leaving a jet stream of spaff, and a very singed bottom.

Has it ever resulted in permanent death?
