Hello!
I'm having some trouble getting WebGL to work with Chromium.
I have an Intel HD4000 and a Radeon HD7970M GPUs in my laptop.
WebGL refuses to work with the intel driver and fglrx. More precisely - chrome://gpu shows hardware acceleration to be available with any driver, but if I hit any webgl page, it will not work. With fglrx I get a crash ("Rats! WebGL hit a snag" - message) and then the GPU page shows that the hardware is unavailable. With intel I also get a crash, although the gpu page will still show hardware as available, any subsequent reloads of the page yield more crashes.
Surprisingly it runs with the radeon driver through DRI_PRIME=1.
Chromium version is 29.0.1547.22.
WebGL runs without any problems in firefox with any driver. As does any other OpenGL application.
If it's relevant I can provide full output of chrome://gpu for any driver before and after the crash, or any other relevant information. I'm not sure how to go about diagnosing this problem.
Hope you can help! |
