Hey!

Gentoo runs on my test server, so i don't use it day by day. Since a while starting virtual machines on the system fails:

Code:
virsh start vm1
error: Failed to start domain vm1
error: Unable to create vcpu cgroup for vm1(vcpu: 0): No such file or directory

I read, that cgroups came into the kernel some time ago and libvirt uses it since some weeks. I don't know how to troubleshoot.

This is, what i can say:

Kernel: 3.10.0-hardened
app-emulation/libvirt-1.0.5.2

Code:
cat /usr/src/linux/.config | grep CGROUP
CONFIG_CGROUPS=y
# CONFIG_CGROUP_DEBUG is not set
CONFIG_CGROUP_FREEZER=y
CONFIG_CGROUP_DEVICE=y
CONFIG_CGROUP_CPUACCT=y
CONFIG_CGROUP_PERF=y
CONFIG_CGROUP_SCHED=y
CONFIG_BLK_CGROUP=y
# CONFIG_DEBUG_BLK_CGROUP is not set
CONFIG_NET_CLS_CGROUP=y
CONFIG_NETPRIO_CGROUP=m

cat /etc/rc.conf | grep cgroup
# If you have cgroups turned on in your kernel, this switch controls
# /sys/fs/cgroup.
# Support for process management by cgroups is planned in the future,
rc_controller_cgroups="YES"

cat /proc/cgroups
#subsys_name    hierarchy       num_cgroups     enabled
cpuset  2       2       1
cpuacct 3       2       1

virsh wants me to create a vcpu group within cgroup?! How can i do that?

Thanks for any help
