Has anyone else noticed problems using YouTube on Firefox 33? I've two machines, one 32-bit and one 64-bit, that no longer work with YouTube. Basically, the videos start to load and play, but the video player quickly refreshes the video at different resolutions. Eventually, the video player screen goes to black with the message Code: | An error occurred, please try again later. Learn More | . This does not appear to be an issue with Flash as other Flash based sites like Daily Motion work just fine. I've faked the user agent string and the problem still occurs. I've also started Firefox in safe mode, where all plugins and extensions are disabled, and the problem persists. Finally, everything works as expected while using Chrome.
In any case, searching on Google and the Mozilla forms has turned up nothing. For reference, on one of the machines:
Code: | [ebuild R ~] www-client/firefox-33.0 USE="dbus jit minimal system-libvpx -bindist -custom-cflags -custom-optimization -debug -gstreamer -hardened (-pgo) -pulseaudio (-selinux) -startup-notification -system-cairo -system-icu -system-jpeg -system-sqlite {-test} -wifi" LINGUAS="-af -ar -as -ast -be -bg -bn_BD -bn_IN -br -bs -ca -cs -csb -cy -da -de -el -en_GB -en_ZA -eo -es_AR -es_CL -es_ES -es_MX -et -eu -fa -fi -fr -fy_NL -ga_IE -gd -gl -gu_IN -he -hi_IN -hr -hu -hy_AM -id -is -it -ja -kk -km -kn -ko -ku -lt -lv -mai -mk -ml -mr -nb_NO -nl -nn_NO -or -pa_IN -pl -pt_BR -pt_PT -rm -ro -ru -si -sk -sl -son -sq -sr -sv_SE -ta -te -th -tr -uk -vi -xh -zh_CN -zh_TW -zu" |
Thanks for the help.
