I have looked at the lspci -n out put and most things look like they should work, but I dont wish to go through all the hoops only for it not to work _________________ I know 43 ways to kill with a SKITTLE, so taste my rainbow bitch. |

You could do a search for gentoo + (part name) for all of that machine's parts, but if it's more or less a standard machine configuration, it most likely will work. Some machines have their little oddities (I have one laptop with a wireless card that does not work with the latest several kernels and another with a webcam that is supported, but you have to kind of hunt for with lsusb), but there probably is little out there that just plain "doesn't work" with Gentoo. _________________ decibel Linux: https://decibellinux.org

Yes i have been seems there is an issue with wireless card if you have bluetooth enabled, most things seem to be supported under the kernel, might have to do a bit of digging - the UEFI is a pain, although I can turn that off, i just dont want to go through all the hassle of compiling to find out it doesnt work :/ _________________ I know 43 ways to kill with a SKITTLE, so taste my rainbow bitch. |
