|
|
Hello you all,
I feel pretty stupid, but I can't seem to find a bootable or install-CD for Gentoo on a Xserve 2.1.
Can anybody point me to an ISO somewhere to get this thing booted?
Thanking you in advance,

http://www.sysresccd.org/Download
assuming you can look in bios and find a uefi boot listing for this cd in addition to the legacy listing
works for me but uefi bios implementations vary _________________ Defund the FCC. |

For anyone who may run in to this same issue:
In GRUB choose: SystemRescueCd (64bit, disable Kernel-Mode-Settings).
Factually it will load:
linux /isolinux/rescue64 nomodeset
initrd /isolinux/initram.igz _________________ The great mistake is to anticipate the outcome of the engagement; Let nature take it's course, and your tools will strike at the right moment. |
