I have been trying to connect to my school's secure wireless network using wpa_supplicant, but I keep getting the error message "Cannot support all requested capabilities in the capability information field". This is pretty vague so I am unsure of which parameters I should be trying to change. I tried a few different things, but nothing has worked so far.

wpa_supplicant.conf entry:
Code:

network={
       ssid="Columbia U Secure"
       key_mgmt=IEEE8021X
       pairwise=CCMP
       group=CCMP
       eap=TTLS
       identity="drg2150"
       password="[omitted]"
       ca_cert="/etc/wpa_supplicant/AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt"
       phase2="auth=PAP"
}

iw event log:
Code:

EDIT: It turns out that I just needed to change key_mgmt to WPA-EAP.
