If it does not work with BB-Codes just post the url without it. Maybe use an url-shortener _________________ - born to create drama -

Split from The URL tag and you! The sticky contains advice on what to do if "just posting the URL" doesn't work. Posting shortened URLs in a persistent media like this forum is also probably a bad idea as they don't necessarily last.

Theoretically yes .. but in practise many (most?) other urls also does not work any more after some years. _________________ - born to create drama -

Well, yes, but [probability that a regular URL will still work] x [probability that a shortened URL will still work] = [an even smaller probability]. Shortened URLs are (mostly) meant for space-limited environments; forum posts aren't that space limited.
