Hello,

I recently installed gentoo on my laptop Sony Vaio. It has 2 graphic cards, an ATI HD 6xxx and an intel HD3000. I d'ont know if they are muxed or not... At the begining I supposed it was muxless becaue I have a hardware switch on the laptop to switch between them (something like that : http://www.tlbhd.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/switch.jpg. So i compiled the vga_switcheroo support, but i don't see any vga_switcheroo directory in the debugfs, and there is no messages about vga_switcheroo in the dmesg.

So there are 2 problems :
1) Maybe my cards are actually muxless, and the hardware switch is useless (only switch in performance mode in Windows). But i don't know how to know if it is the case (there is nothing about graphic card in the bios)

2) Even if it is the case, shouldn't vga_switcheroo be able to create its directory in the debugfs? And write an error message when I try to switch?
