Here is the error that i get

following the reccomendation to run

'sudo chmod 1777 /dev/shm'
gives a temporary fix it until I reboot/restart the system Can someone please explain what this command does and how can I have it so I don't have to run this command every time I reboot?

I'm also getting this error. The default permissions for /dev/shm are 755. Who's wrong?

This is as far is I get. And a popup saying spotify is already running - which it's not.
This is on a fresh gentoo install.
