Dont know why, but I've got some memory leaks. Htop tells something like that:
Quote:
Mem:3435M used:632M buffers:511M cache:1207M

So, 632MB is used. But top output tells that memory is not used by any software: http://pastebin.com/2DE6kfW6
Tried to kill all the services, but it doesn't change a lot (next is top output after killing services): http://pastebin.com/672RMSQS
I think 350MB used is not good for system without any services launched...

If I reboot, memory becomes good, but after few hours this trouble returns.

Where to find a reason of such situation?

Hello Yumi,

since you will definitely not be the last one wondering about this [1] can shed some light on this :)

=)

I know that thing.
And I started this thread because AFAIK htop shows really used memory, cache and buffers (as you can see in my first quote). I've tried to clean cache with echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches, but it doesn't help so much...

Why you call it trouble? Do you experience frantic swapping and system slowdown?
