|
|
Hi,
after installing and setting new VM when I try to launch it I have this error:
Code: | KVM Kernel Module Not Loaded!
To load this Module, Enter in Terminal with root privileges: "modprobe kvm-intel". Or If Use AMD Processor: "modprobe kvm-amd". |
however I have modules built in and /dev/kvm exists and user in kvm group
what am I doing wrong? |

right, but you need kvm-amd or kvm-intel as well.
kvm
kvm-intel
kvm-amd
Depending on your proc you need a total of TWO modules (or compiled in options.).
Check further in the commands lsmod and dmesg. |

that's not the problem as kvm-intel is built in the kernel
however when I start qemu from console without -S which aqemu add to command line, it works fine |
