|
Hi,
Just installed Gentoo on a machine on my lan and I would like to make it a local rsync server for my other machines on the network since my internet access here is unreliable and expensive. Is it possible and what do i need to do to setup a local server for installing gentoo? |

The answers you seek can be found in the Gentoo Linux Mirroring Guide.
Oh, and moving to Networking forum. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

Thanks! Is there a way to configure a custom client install to look for the local server rather than the default? |
