"State change" on screen Caps Lock key reminder?

Is there any program that can show me when there is a state change of my caps lock key, so that I know if I'm in caps mode or not, on screen?

This would come in useful for passwords, for example.

If not a program, some setting that is on Gnome or XFCE?
