No German spell-checking in LibreOffice 4.0.2

I installed LibreOffice with LINGUAS="de en he"; while spell-checking works in English and Hebrew, it doesn't work at all in German: every paragraph marked as German goes unchecked and there is no check mark next to the German entry in the language list. app-dicts/myspell-de is definitely installed and I emerged it again just to make sure, but it still doesn't work. Any idea how to make it work?

[I don't quite remember if it worked with older versions of LibreOffice, as I use it quite seldom.]

no openoffice support it from oxt files
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/extensions/install/dict-de_DE-frami_2012-06-17.oxt
