Gnome 2 Hanging for 60 secs after login, and then starting

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue and despite lots of looking through logs and searching via google, I've been unable to resolve the issue.

Basically whenever I login, the login window disappears and I'm left with the cursor for upto 1 minute. After that point, the disk kicks up and gnome starts. I'm not sure what logs to post here to aid, but let me know what would help and I'll get it posted here.
