Hello.
Can i have a Gentoo Linux and a Windows Seven in my hdd on separate partitions and when i am on my gentoo, run Windows Seven from my hdd in a vmware or something like it ?
Of course, I want to be able to boot on my Windows Seven with Grub.

I think it may be possible to do something like that by adding a hardware profile to windows 7. When it boots in the VM it's going to see different virtual hardware, and out of the box I don't think it will run like that.

But maybe someone has solved this problem for you, see if google knows anything.

I don't think there will be any gentoo-specific problems, it's just going to be down to making it work with whatever VM system you choose.
