EDIT: I realized only now that I have accidentally posted this thread under "Multimedia" instead of "Desktop Environments"; is there a way to move it? Sorry about this.
Hi all,
I just got, via emerge, the update to KDE 16.04.3 (from 15.something).
For the most part it is working well (I still have to test it as lately I am not using this pc very often) except for 2 problems with icons:
- the icons on the systray are too big; I usually followed this guide, but it doesn't seems to work this time;
- if I try to change the icon set from "System Settings" -> "Icons", the icons do not change after pressing "Apply". but I have to log off and log back in.
How can I solve these issue?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Marco Di Fresco

So, what desktop environment do you actually use? KDE Applications 16.04.3 is just a bundle of applications, it does not install any systray. Do you have one of these 'higher' DPI screens? |

Hi,
indeed I made a mistake in grabbing the version number. I have KDE 5.7.5 with Framework 5.26.0.
In package.use I have:
Code: | kde-plasma/plasma-desktop legacy-systray gtk2 gtk3 qt4 |
As for the monitor, I have an LG M227WD that display at 1920x1080. _________________ Marco Di Fresco
