Dont upgrade to web-apps/tt-rss-1.7.9-r1

It, quite simply, doesn't work!

1.7.9 worked fine, but that is no longer available to downgrade to.

If you feel the need to downgrade, you can always use the archive - http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/www-apps/tt-rss/?hideattic=0 ... though be careful, usually it means emerging some vulnerabilities etc ..
