|
|
I tried a few searches but they came up empty... I've downloaded the EOWE LiveDVD amd64 twice and both times, the burn appears to have failed. I get an error when trying to run it with Windows in the qemu environment (qemu.exe is not a valid Win32 application) and when trying to boot from the DVD, it throws a few weird "unknown option" messages and I can't get anywhere from the boot prompt - it says the kernels are not found.
I've been away from Gentoo for a few years so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong... perhaps even the software I'm burning it with (Roxio Burn 12.1) is the culprit. The md5 value of the iso is 82bdcbbabd2d75399f59f25bd6587573 but I cannot find a link to the md5 on the Gentoo site to verify it (perhaps I've overlooked it?).
Any help would be appreciated. |

Generally the digest files are right alongside the ISO image files. What's the name of the ISO you downloaded?

livedvd-amd64-multilib-20121221.iso
UPDATE: Need to get new glasses. I DIGESTS file was right in front of me... I was looking for MD5 not DIGESTS.
Seems that the MD5 is not matching on the download... frustrating! |
