Hi,
I'write this to save time to other people.
I installed libreoffice-bin, but when I run it, I get:
Code:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::uno::RuntimeException'

running libreoffice-bin under root was working. Then I install libreoffice and take one night to compile all the stuff but then exactly the same error was happening.
Others distros have the same problems and with help of some forums I found that it was a permission problem. I did
Code:

chown -vR myUser .config/libreoffice

and everything was right.

Maybe a bug report should be filled?

Well, libreoffice-bin definitely does not install any files into your home directory. It also does not contain any setuid-binaries, so it cannot generate any files in your home directory that are owned by anyone else than you.

What was the ownership of the files before? Do you have any clue how they got into that directory?

When the emerge of libreoffice-bin was terminated, I run libreoffice-bin under root account to test it.
I think the files in /home/user/.config/libreoffice were generated by this instance of libreoffice-bin
Maybe these files were (wrongly) placed there because, at this time, the current directory was /home/user
But it's just speculation...

P.S.: No /root/.config/libreoffice directory was created

Yep. That probably wasn't such a good idea. (And I suspect you did not log in as root but used su.)

That's exactly what I did.
