I have modified the app-emulation/gens ebuild to allow building on amd64 by adding Code: | multilib_toolchain_setup x86 | to src_configure. Gens will not ever be 64-bit compatible, so that is the only way. This worked fairly well for a while, but recent attempts at rebuilding Gens fail because the configure stage cannot find gtk: Code: | conftest.c(12): catastrophic error: cannot open source file "gtk/gtk.h" |
I do have app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtklibs with the development useflag, aswell as gtk+:2 and gtk+:3 installed. I cannot figure out what on my setup changed to make it not able to find the header. If I omit multilib_toolchain_setup, it finds the header but predictably fails to compile later on. I don't have a lot of experience in handling multilib or writing ebuilds in general, so I hope someone can help me out.
Any ideas? |
