|
|
Just wondering if using the MintMenu with Mate, is possible with Gentoo? If so, how? I tried MintMenu from several overlays but Mate isn't seeing it. Any help with this is appreciated, thank you in advance. _________________ Linux. Freedom. Power. |

My recommendation is to take the appropriate .deb, and disassemble it to see what it's doing when APT installs it, in Mint (or Debian, etc.)
I'll try to help with this a bit but my background in desktop architecture is rather limited. |

Might be a stupid question, but did you put it into the panel?
Mate won't automatically use the mintmenu, even if it is there. You have to configure the panel to use it. (Right click on panel, add to panel, mintmenu). _________________ Kali Ma
