Hi all,
I have zsh-5.0.2 installed on my system alongside nvidia-cuda-toolkit. Zsh 5.0.2-r1 will not build because of the ncurses[tinfo] which is required by nvidia-cuda-toolkit. For now, I have masked zsh>5.0.2, but is there a way around this that will let me have both of these?
Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem. Thanks for pointing me at this use flag! I guess for now, we can only mask it. I am wondering how distributions without use flags can handle this at all..
regards

tenspd137, ribx ...
The tracker for this bug, see bug #457530, has a good number of packages on its strike list. It seems there are few packages, nvidia-cuda-toolkit being one, that require the tinfo useflag, and so its those few packages against a greater number that break, those packages (still marked 'confirmed', but not 'fixed') will eventually be reworked to use pkg-config ... but it may take sometime to bring all the packages listed to a state that they can work along with ncurses being split.
best ... khay |
