|
|
Hi dear all,
My customer has a network with a router set in the middle of it;
Unfortunatly router's login/pwd is lost.
Routing sules are and logic is just undocumented.
My customer has ast least 2 ISP boxes in is network.
Although I can't prove it, I have a strong feeling router is at least configured to support Internet access depending on the selected network configuration on the computer sidz (which happens to be a Mac).
My questions are:
A) It there any router free obvious way to configure the network so that each FAI can be used?
B) Let's assume my customer wishes a better bandwith for its internet traffic of each internet client.
It there any obvious way to achieve that, should the additionnal ISP boxe be of the same ISP or not?
Hoping my requests are clear anough,
Thanks for your attention. |

Hmm, not sure your in the right forum space here,
anyhow, well it would help to know the router vendor..
also, are you accessing this via ethernet of wireless, i notices you use the work 'sidz' do you mean ssid ?
I don't think its possible to policy base route off a computer's sid.
TBH it may be easier just to try cracking into the router, again maybe i could help with the vendor & model.
you could always setup a Gentoo server and loadbalance to the two ISP's off that, youd need to know the next hop (router IP). _________________ Slugggerzzz ... |
