[SOLVED] udev does not recognize/load onboard snd_hda_intel

HI!

I have 2 machines with the same mainboard and on one of them, udev automatically recognizes the onboard intel/realtek sound hardware and on the other, I have to make an entry in /etc/conf.d/modules to load snd_hda_intel.

The one that does not work automatically also has a Nvidia gfx card with HDMI audio, but that should be the only relevant difference.

Intel HD audio is configured as a module on both and all the codecs are enabled in the kernel config.

The system are both almost up to date (kernel 3.5.7).

I'd like to know, why udev does not work correctly on the 2nd system.

Got it. I don't know why, but the module was blacklisted!
