Hi,
Seems like debian originated patch
Code:
10_fix_sdksyms.sh_to_cope_with_gcc5.patch
is required.But how to integrate this patch in the ebuild?

CaptainBlood,

You could use 1.17.2-r1 which works with gcc-5.2

or you can copy the ebuild to your overlay and either edit in to call epatchuser, so it will pick up patches from /etc/portage or add your patch to the list of patches applied by the ebuild and put your patch into the ~/files dir beside the ebuild in your overlay.

Using an overlay is documented in the handbook.

Thanks NeddySeagoon for reminding me of the epachuser keyword which is the method I could not recall of.
I already overlayed an ebuild to /usr/local/portage and modified the ebuild to include additional patch.
I think I will give the epatchuser method a try.
