hey all, i'm running slim and awesome-wm
I am having a problem where sudo doesn't work while i'm in an X session... otherwise its fine
not sure what to do!!
any tips would be great!!
it outputs no errors and just sits, never delivers a password prompt..
my ck-list-sessions looks fine.. and logs don't reveal anything.. it shows pam open then session then fail after i beak out of sudo..
Code: |
[pam_ssh] can't get passphrase from PAM
[sudo] pam_unix(sudo:auth): conversation failed
[sudo] pam_unix(sudo:auth): auth could not identify password for [foo]
|
let me know if you want any other logs |

you might install net-misc/ssh-askpass-fullscreen which may supply what pam_ssh is loking for |

I installed that package and i still have the same issue
should sudo be using the ssh prompt to supply its password? that seems weird.
nobody else is having issues with /dev/tty and sudo lately?? |
