Hi,
I did an update to Gentoo last weekend (emerge -NuD world) and now have an issue with scrolling in all windows - it smears when doing scrolling via the slide bar or wheel-mouse.
Window before scroll

and after:

Using intel xf86 drivers/

Latest version available: 2.21.0
Latest version installed: 2.21.0
Size of files: 1,650 kB

Description: X.Org driver for Intel cards

Using Xorg with in autodetct (without a conf file).
Everthing is fine under other WM's (LXDE) - so I guess is the Gnome 3 side:

Done lot of testing - this only seems to effect Gnome 3 in its normal mode - in fail back everything is fine.
As mentioned above, its also fine with other WM's such as Enlightenment and LXDE.
Hardware is a Dell E6420 - http://www.dell.com/us/enterprise/p/latitude-e6420/pd#TechSpec
This is really anoying. |

I've given up with this - everything I try does not fix it.
I'm now running Gnome 3 in Fallback mode - which I actually prefer
If any one does ever find a solution - please post it.
Cheers,
Kev |
