bluetooth not working properly

I, after installing bluetooth functionality I could send a file from my mobile to my laptop. After reboot, I get an error. First, gnome message service states 'receiving file...' and then 'could not receive file #' with no further explanation. How to fix this?

If I try to browse through my mobile phone via the bluetooth manager, I get 'Message did not receive a reply'
